So you wake up in Berlin and it’s a sunny Sunday morning?
Follow the locals to one of the city’s fantastic and numerous flea markets.
Despite crap directions from the hotel I managed to find the Tiergarten Market on the very west end of Strasse 17 Juni and oh what treasures!
The first half of the market is crowded with antique stalls hawking everything from Turkish carpets to stuffed monkeys. The next is full of arts and crafts stalls.
Whether you’re hunting for antiques or just want some thrifty eye candy on a Sunday morning – the Tiergarten market is tops.
