Gazing out beyond my laptop, 2007 began with views from the front window of a Victorian townhouse in Birmingham, England and ends with a peek of the Toronto skyline from an attic nook of an equally aged townhouse in Queen West West, Toronto.
While my view of the world hasn’t shifted that dramatically, the sense of my place in it has – and this makes all the difference.
